These Terms govern your use of GTMCat — the gtmcat.xyz web app and the GTMCat Capture browser extension (together, the "Service"), provided by GTMCat ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
GTMCat surfaces high-intent Reddit conversations for your product, scores them by buyer intent, and helps you engage by hand, from your own account. Capture happens through your own logged-in Reddit session via the extension — there is no Reddit API and no server-side scraping.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, be at least 18, and be responsible for activity under your account. One person or organization per account unless agreed.
3. Acceptable use — the line we don't cross, and neither may you
The Service is read-only capture + human-in-the-loop engagement. You agree that you will not use GTMCat (or attempt to make GTMCat) to:
- post, comment, vote, message, or take any automated or autonomous action on Reddit;
- operate sock-puppet accounts, vote manipulation, or buy/sell engagement;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in posts;
- capture content your own Reddit session is not entitled to see, or circumvent access controls;
- violate Reddit's User Agreement, Content Policy, or any subreddit's rules, or any applicable law.
You are solely responsible for what you post from your own Reddit account and for complying with Reddit's terms and each community's rules. "Capture profiles" must be throwaway, read-only logins; your posting identity is your own account, stored as a username only. We may suspend accounts that breach this section.
4. Subscriptions, trials & billing
- GTMCat offers a free trial and paid plans (see gtmcat.xyz/pricing). The trial has usage limits.
- Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring basis through our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, who processes your payment and may also be the seller of record for tax purposes.
- Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next billing period.
5. Your content & data
You retain ownership of your product context, notes, drafts, and account data. You grant us a limited license to process it to operate the Service (including AI processing — see the Privacy Policy). Public Reddit content captured through your session is handled per the Privacy Policy and the shared-pool description there.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service, including the GTMCat name, the cat logo, software, and content (excluding your data and third-party content), is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or build a competing product from the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third parties (Reddit, and our subprocessors). We're not responsible for third-party services, and your use of Reddit is governed by Reddit's own terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Buyer-intent scores and AI-generated drafts are suggestions, not guarantees — review everything before you act. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your goals.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTMCat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Indemnity
You'll indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, Reddit's terms, or law (including any posting you make from your account).
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your data anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach (especially Section 3), non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; we'll update the date and notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing jurisdiction — set before publishing], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
